6 Steps to Re-Thinking Communication
A fun, interactive workshop that makes church leadership a whole lot easier!

This day-long, engaging and interactive workshop will enable you to communicate more effectively and listen more intelligently.  As a result, you’ll be ready to lead change more confidently!

1.  Take a Personalized Self-Assessment
Before the Workshop even begins, take an Everything DiSC Classic 2.0 self-assessment.  Answering this brief profile online will generate an extremely valuable tool that gives you practical and accurate insight into your personality.  It will help you grow in self-understanding and become more effective in your interactions with others.   You’ll receive your own personalized report at the workshop.

2.  Consider Your Way of Being as a Gift from God

Our day-long experience is spiritually grounded and begins with worship.  Reaffirm that your way of being is a tremendous gift from God.

3. Re-Think What You Know About Communication

Discover that different communication styles flow from four underlying behavioral preferences. Knowing this makes all the difference!  Stop taking others’ way of being as a personal affront or a challenge, and learn what truly makes people tick.

4.  Discover What Makes You Unique

Using the results of the online self-assessment, gain meaningful insights into your own “behavioral comfort zone” and how that shapes your conversations with others.  From strengths, weaknesses, fears, goals, and motivators, I guarantee, you’ll be delighted and amazed at the accuracy of the report.

5.  Practice People-Reading

Next, practice how to listen more intently to what others are saying, and what they are not saying.  When you know how to recognize what drives and motivates the people around you, you can learn how to bring out the best in them.  It’s almost like having a secret power!

6.  Put it all Together

Finally, practice what you’ve learned about yourself and others in a safe and fun environment through role plays.  You’ll leave with skills and strategies you can put to immediate use—even in your most challenging relationships. Relax; doing church just got a whole lot easier!
