Tremendous progress has been made in Jewish-Christian relations.
Even so, widespread misinformation, mistranslations, and misunderstandings hinder the Church's understanding of the Jewish Jesus.
The result?
Unconscious prejudice still finds its way into the life of the Church. In liberal and conservative churches alike, a subtle sense of "bad Jews!" sneaks into our Bible Studies, sermons, worship, and singing. Triangulation is still the norm, Jews and Gentiles are pushed farther apart, and the Church is impoverished. Jesus, if he were in a grave, would be rolling over in it.
It doesn't have to be that way!
This biblically grounded, thought-provoking study uses a family systems approach to integrate the Jewishness of Jesus so that the Bible, the Person, and His People come alive anew.
